Since November 1940, Fantasia has enchanted fans of all ages with its magical mix of animation and music. The works of eight composers are featured in the film (The Walt Disney Archives has been spotlighting them all month long), complementing the artistry of Disney Legends such as Les Clark and Woolie Reitherman and making it a true celebration of sight and sound. At the time of its release, Fantasia was a technical marvel; in fact, theaters needed to be equipped with a specialized speaker system in order to properly showcase the film!
