Cartoon County '98: the SHOCK competition!
L'associazione di autori del Sussex Cartoon County, indice il concorso internazionale The SHOCK! Competition nel centenario della morte dell'artista Aubrey Beardsley (1872-1898). Inoltre una mostra organizzata in collaborazione con il Festival di Darnétal (Rouen, Normandia) a Brighton, dal 1 al 27 giugno, nel Garden Arts Centre dell'Università del Sussex. Il Festival avrà luogo il 19 e il 20 giugnoalla Hewison Hall, Brighton Centre, con seminari, autografi, laboratori e incontri con autori Britannici e Francesi. Potete partecipare al grande concorso (premi da 100 a 600 sterline) con opere (un massimo di 5, vignette, tavole, o strisce, nei formati da A5 a A2, in bianco e nero o a colori) che riflettano lo spirito fin-de-siècle della nostra era, da far pervenire entro le ore 12.00 del 25 aprile 1998! Cartoon County '98: the SHOCK competition!
Cartoon County, the Sussex Association of cartoonists an Comic Strip Artists, is celebrating the centenary of Aubrey Bearsdley (1872-1898) with a cross-Channel cartoon and comic strip exhibition in association with the comics festival in Darnétal, Normandy. The Festivla will be on Friday 10 - saturday 20 June, Hewison Hall, Brighton Centre, with seminars, book-signings, workshops and creators attending from the UK and France. The Exhibition will be on 1 - 27 June, Gardner Arts Centre, University of Sussex. Do you want to partecipate to the competition?
