Walt Disney’s Treasury of Classic Tales “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” Sunday Comic Strip by Richard Moore Original Art dated 6-19-83 (Walt Disney/King Features Syndicate, 1983). Penultimate installment of this modern-era retelling of Disney’s first feature film, as a Sunday comic strip. This very dramatic strip includes the death of the Wicked Queen in her disguise as an old hag; the final panel shows Snow White in her “death sleep” coffin, with all seven dwarfs kneeling before her. Wow! Art is by Richard “Sparky” Moore (1925 – 2016), drawn in ink and white paint over blue pencil on Bristol board measuring 23″ x 16″, with an image size of 21″ x 14.25″; the title panel is an original production photostat.
