www.afnews.info segnala: Jean Graton (10 August 1923 – 21 January 2021, France) worked in animation and advertising before starting to draw stories in “Spirou” in the early 1950s. Moving to “Tintin” in 1953 he wrote as well as drew his own stories.
He created his most famous series, ‘Michel Vaillant’, in 1957. In 1972 he created ‘Julie Wood’ who eventually appeared regularly in “Michel Vaillant”. In 1982 he founded Graton Editeur with his son, Phillipe Graton. Jean Graton retired in 2004.
