www.afnews.info segnala: ‘Derib’ is the pen name of Claude de Ribaupierre (born 8 August 1944, Switzerland), a francophone comics creator who started his professional career at Peyo’s studio.
He is probably best known for his work in the Western genre, such as the children’s comic “Yakari” and the more mature works “Buddy Longway” and “Celui-qui-est-né-deux-fois”.
Many of his stories feature Sioux characters in leading roles and he has described his great respect for that nation.
