Superman Triumph #772 Tearaway Pages 419-422 (The Triumph Magazine, 1939). Superman may be all American but that doesn’t mean he didn’t make his way to our cousins across the pond! In fact, he made his way to the UK in issue #772 of Triumph magazine in August 5th, 1939. Here we have 4 tearaway pages featuring his origin story and first appearance! Many have argued that the cover to this issue may’ve inspired radio program writers to give the Last Son of Krypton the power of flight as it shows Superman leaping over the world but many feel he’s in fact, flying! Pages are toned, the first 2.5 pages have been colored in with pencil, some tearing/creasing, folding, and handling wear. Item sold as is. Pages are in Very Good shape themselves but on the Hakes system of grading, Fair as they have been removed from the magazine itself.
