Come abbiamo avuto modo di anticipare su afNews tempo fa, la Disney (Casa Madre, s'intende) conta di rinnovarsi per agganciare nuovo pubblico. Lo fa (anche) con l'iniziativa denominata Kingdom Comics, che vede sotto contratto Ahmet Zappa, Harris Katleman e Christina Beranek. Il mix di storie in formato graphic novel e cinema dovrebbe vedere flussi andata e ritorno fra letteratura e cinema, sia pescando (ma adeguando ai giorni nostri) dal patrimonio dei personaggi storici della Disney, sia creandone di nuovi. Un bel po' di interessanti possibilità per scrittori e sceneggiatori (e disegnatori, certo, perché no), si direbbe. Si vedrà.

 "Disney is getting into the graphic novel business with a plan to adapt the works into movies. Walt Disney Studios has created Kingdom Comics and signed a multiyear deal with writer-actor Ahmet Zappa, executive Harris Katleman and writer-editor Christian Beranek to oversee the division. The aim is to create titles that will be the basis of new film projects for the studio as well as reimagine and rejuvenate movies from the Disney's library of live-action films.
