La pittrice statunitense Elizabeth Murray, nota anche per i suoi murali a New York, è morta all'età di 66 anni il 12 agosto 2007. La citiamo su afNews perché il motivo dell'avvicinamento all'arte della pittura sta nei suoi disegni d'infanzia, ispirati dalle strisce quotidiane che apparivano (e appaiono tuttora) sui quotidiani americani.
