Franco-Belgian Comics at the Turin Book Fair. Saturday 12 May Claude Moliterni and Hermann, co-ordinated by Luca Boschi and assisted by Paul Laffont for the translation, held a conference on Franco-Belgian comics at the Torino Comics festival, within the Turin Book Show. Claude Moliterni made a short history of French-language comic magazines (Charlie, A Suivre, Pilote, Fluide Glacial, L'Echo des Savanes etc.) and of their founders and collaborators, Hermann then talked about his career as a comic author (Bernard Prince, Caatinga, Jeremiah, Comanche, Jugurtha, Les Dalton, On a tué Wild Bill, Sarajevo-Tango etc.). Lastly, some drawings by Moebius were reviewed (an exhibition on Giraud-Moebius was staged as part of Torino Comics, with plates kindly lent by Bernard Mahé).
