Dal nostro corrispondente Guido Vogliotti: E' uscito a giugno il primo numero della rivista di Les Amis de Jacobs, che dovrebbe continuare con cadenza semestrale per fornire agli amanti di Jacobs (e di Blake e Mortimer) materiale per nutrire la loro passione. Il primo numero presenta varie cose mai pubblicate (annotazioni, biglietti, disegni) provenienti da collezioni private, che certamente faranno la felicità dei fan di Jacobs, mai sazi di notizie, disegni, testimonianze sull'opera e la personalità del loro beneamato. Sicuramente la rivista dovrà continuare a fornire queste cose, essendo il mezzo giusto per farlo. Tuttavia, supponendo che la famiglia si allarghi e la rivista cresca di conseguenza (questo numero ha 16 pagine e una tiratura di 250 esemplari), si vorrebbe vedere maggiore spazio dedicato allo studio critico delle varie sfaccettature di questo gigante del fumetto di avventura. Questo primo numero è pieno di ricordi, si dovrebbe ora lasciare spazio anche alla ricerca e alla fase produttiva. Tra l'altro è quasi incredibile che il fan club di un autore tanto noto e straordinario abbia trovato finora soltanto 140 aderenti. C'è da auspicare che il sito web in costruzione (http://amisdejacobs.org) riesca ad attirare il giusto numero di appassionati a questo club lungamente atteso. By Jove! Tanti auguri!  The first issue of the Les Amis de Jacobs fanzine has come out in June. The magazine will be appearing six-monthly to provide Jacobs' fans (and Blake and Mortimer's) with material to nurture their passion. The first issue presents unpublished material (personal notes, cards, drawings) from private collections that will no doubt appeal to the Jacobs enthusiasts who want to dig ever deeper into his work and personality. This is one of the things the magazine should continue to provide, since it is the right vehicle to do that. However, assuming that the circle will grow and the magazine will become heftier (this issue only has 16 pages and a circulation of 250), one would wish to see more studies and essays on the various facets of this paramount adventure-comic author. This first issue is full of remembrance, I think in future there should be more research and creativity. By the way, it is almost unbelievable that to date only 140 members could be found for the fan club of such an extraordinary author. It is to be hoped that the website now under construction (http://amisdejacobs.org) will be more effective in attracting new fellows for this long-awaited club. By Jove! All the Best!
