We receive from the CBBD: Dear friends, Next Tuesday 25th April, we inaugurate in the Belgian Comic Strip Centre our big summer exhibition: Rhâââ Gotlib. The French cultartist Gotlib was at the root of a revolution in 20th-century European comic strips. With Gai-Luron, Rubrique-à-Brac, Hamster Jovial, Pervers Pépère and other feats of literary and graphic prowess, Marcel Gotlib invented a new kind of devastating humour, as well as the author’s comic. As a prince of the burlesque and an animal lover, he gave due credit to the dominant role of the ladybird in nature.
