Al via l'edizione Francese di Wondercity

Una lunga attesa motivata dall'inserimento di Wondercity in una nuova collana sulla quale l'editore francese punta molto e che è stata battezzata Nouvelle Génération. Da tre a quattro uscite annuali, in formato album cartonato (207x297 mm) e con un prezzo che è meno della metà di quello tradizionale (5,95 euro). Ma quello che colpisce è sopratutto la tiratura che da l'idea dell'investimento assunto dall'editore verso questa nuova collana i cui albi saranno stampati in oltre 25.000 copie, più del triplo di qualunque altra nuova serie. L'iniziativa, pianificata da tempo e sostenuta da un'ampia distribuzione che si affida sia alla neonata Delsol che alla tradizionale Hachette Livre, è stata presentata ufficialmente oggi sul portale ActuaBD all'interno di un ricco e interessante articolo.
 
 We receive: The french edition of Wondercity is coming out. The eagerly awaited first episode of Wondercity, the series created by Gualdoni, Turconi and Tenderini, is going to come out in May by Editions Soleil whereas it is already published in Italy by Free Books. A long wait justified by the choice of the French editor to insert Wondercity in a new collection intituled Nouvelle Génération. There will be three or four issues per year in albums bound in paperboards (207x297 cm) whose price is lower than the traditional price (5,95 euros). But the real innovation is the circulation because the editor wants to print more than 25,000 albums, that is more than three times as much any other series, which gives an idea of the big investment he is making for the new collection. This initiative has been planned for a long time and it is supported by a large distribution committed to the newly born Delson and to the traditional Hachette Livre.
