Gunnarsson ha proposto, tempo fa, altre immagini di un’altra rarità di Carl Barks: una bella Amelia disegnata per una fan anche sulla busta, oltre che nelle dediche interne. Cose che si facevano nel lontano 1963. Seguite il link qui di seguito per leggere il tutto e vedere le immagini.

Ne parla Joakim Gunnarson nel suo blog, di storie non finite e degli appunti di Carl Barks che Gunnarson ha acquisito a suo tempo e sta lentamente decrittando. Ne vedete un piccolo esempio qui accanto. C'è forse ancora qualcosa di sconosciuto, o di rivelatore, tra le idee appuntate dal creatore di Zio Paperone? Chissà. As I've mentioned earlier I recently bought two folders filled with plot ideas etc by Carl Barks. One has Gyro Gearloose stuff and the other (labeled "Story Germs") is filled with papers dating from ca late 50's to the mid 60's. Su afNews abbiamo ampiamente parlato (in più di una occasione) dello sbarco negli Stati Uniti di alcuni progetti editoriali Disney “made in Italy” (Wizards of Mickey, Ultraheroes...), presso l'editore Boom! Studios, nuovo licenziatario dei fumetti della House of Mouse. Bene, uno dei più antichi (online dal 1995, che, per internet, non è poco) e interessanti siti dedicati ai fumetti Disney, Disney Comics Worldwide, ha intervistato uno degli autori che hanno preso parte al progetto Ultraheroes, il nostro lettore Giorgio Salati, che ha parlato a trecentosessanta gradi dei suoi maestri, a partire da Riccardo Secchi, dei grandi da cui trae ispirazione – Gottfredson, Scarpa, Barks –, del lavoro sulla miniserie supereroistica e del mestiere del fumettista in generale. Here at afNews, we talked a lot about some Italian Disney projects (Wizards of Mickey, Ultraheroes...) that will be published in the U.S. by Boom! Studios, new Disney's comics licensee. An interesting and old (it is online since 1995!) website about Disney Comics, Disney Comics Worldwide, interviewed one of the author who toke part to the Ultraheroes project, our reader Giorgio Salati. He talked about his teachers (Riccardo Secchi, first of all), the important authors from whom he draws inspiration (Gottfredson, Scarpa, Barks), his work on the miniserie and “being a comics-writer” in general. La retrospettiva dedicata a Carl Barks, annunciata a suo tempo su afNews, ha aperto i battenti al Geppi's Entertainment Museum.
